And Californians would pay a new surcharge on their personal income taxes, amounting to 2.5% of their total tax bills."

surcharge on income tax? WTF!!!!!!!
increased gasoline tax while decreasing spending on public transportation? FUK YOU CA state government!
What about cutting spending on government rather than social services (schools, roads, etc)? Of course politicians would have any of that.

"Green" surfboards are NICE - new Country Feeling Surfboard

new 6'4" surfboard by Kyle Bernhardt and his Country Feeling line (http://www.countryfeelingsurfboards.com/). it has hemp cloth on the top. can't tell the difference between it and regular fiberglass. My little part of going "green". Kyle nailed it again for me. Another great board and this one done in an incredible turn around. Got to ride it today in some good HH+ surf and the board felt perfect.

yes there's probably extra cost to the airline in placing a surfboard bag on their plan due to the extra weight and length of the bag. however, a single or double shortboard bag can not be heavier than a golf bag. why then are we charged when golfers are not? airlines need to be consistent across all customers and stop discriminating surfers. either charge golfers, skiers, snowboarders, etc or don't charge surfers. Pick an option.
