What I hate

people who whistle/hum/sing out load but either only repeat a small part of a song OVER AND OVER AND OVER again or are totally off beat. To me it's worse than finger nails across a chalkboard. Every fiber of my being wants to strangle that person and yell......You suck! You have no musical talent! So shut up!

Joys of summer surfing in So-Cal

and this isn't even the crowded part too!

County Line - July 4th 2007

low quality due to picture taken with my cell phone. by my count there are 34 people in this picture with surfboards. and there was even more people out of frame to the left and right. probably one of the most crowded summer days I've ever seen here. the surf was good that day, but WAY too many people. now only if I can find somewhere else on this planet with less crowds, pretty consistent surf year around, and where I can make a decent living.....cause So-Cal is just too crazy now. Or hopefully the housing bubble popping right now with help thin out some of the crowds? One can hope.............

Pretty mediocre winter for both surf and snow. Pathetic spring for windswells. Absolutely atrocious summer for south swells. I think I've worn out the mental tape rewinding all my memorable waves. Can summer please be over with so that we can get some good days at Strand? PLEASE! Pretty please with sugar on top.
